Sub-processors

Folio makes use of some third party services (sub-processors), which have access to limited customer data. These sub-processors support the core offering of the Folio service. Sub-processors provide services such as cloud infrastructure, email, file storage, analytics, user support, and payments processing. Before engaging a sub-processor Folio reviews the security and privacy practices of the sub-processor and if applicable takes additional steps to ensure a high standard of privacy practices.

All sub-processors are certified under the EU Model Clauses known as ‘Standard Contractual Clauses’ to meet GDPR requirements.
Over time, Folio may seize the usage of a certain sub-processor or add a sub-processor if we believe that it will enhance our ability to deliver the Folio service. We will periodically update this page to reflect additions and removals to our list of sub-processors.
